Charity Action Recruitment is the commercial arm of our parent company, Red Kite Learning, a registered charity that works with disadvantaged groups to support, inform and empower people to improve their employment prospects.

Charity Action Recruitment was born out of a volunteering project, a joint venture between Red Kite Learning and the voluntary sector, which successfully supported over 1200 unemployed jobseekers into work through voluntary placements, ICT training and job search support.

Charity Action Recruitment was established in 1997 in response to a growing demand from the not for profit sector for high quality staff from individuals seeking support to develop their careers in the voluntary sector. It was a natural progression to develop and expand our services to incorporate the needs of the charities we were already working with and to offer our services to employed individuals. We continue to assist in finding volunteers work in charities and offer a free service to advertise such vacancies on our website.

Our team has over fifteen years experience of the voluntary, recruitment and not-for-profit and commercial sectors, a combination which means that we will provide a tailored, professional and highly efficient service to both our candidates and clients.

All profits generated by Charity Action Recruitment are covenanted to Red Kite Learning, which makes a contribution to fulfilling their mission to assist disadvantaged groups in London to access training, education and employment.
